WRITING A PERSONAL LETTER
Personal letters/ Friendly letter
This is the message written by someone in order to inform him/her about different issues which are not officials. The content of these letters is different from other types of letters such as official letters and others. The kind of conversation in this friendly letter is very casual (informal way).

There are two types of letters such as
[list=lower-roman]
[*]Personal/ Friendly letters.
[*]Official letters.

For a personal letter to be written in a good way there are different principles or characteristics which are considered in writing a personal letter;
Principles of writing friendly letters
  1. Writing of the date, when the letter was written
  2. Presence of sender’s Address
  3. The use of a causal language
  4. Different topics can be written in the same letter
  5. The length of the content of the letter is not limited
  6. There is no formula on how to end the letter.
  7. You can write your name at the end of the letter

 As a student, you need to understand how a friendly letter are written so that you can be able to use it as one of the means of communication. So more practice on how to write a friendly letter should be practiced.
